Medication Management
One of the most important facets of assisted living communities is accurate medication management. Not only are our team of nurses and caregivers expertly trained in medication management but Chandler House Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia Care uses a mobile medication management program that incorporates the real-time individual needs of each resident, ensuring instantaneous and accurate treatment of various conditions.
Chandler House Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia Care is one of the only assisted living communities with a certified nurse overseeing medication distribution. In addition to medication distribution, Chandler House Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia Care is able to offer services such as insulin injections, oxygen therapy, and wound care that are not often available at other memory care facilities.
Also, because of the level of nursing care and their interaction with the residents on a daily basis, we are able to monitor and quickly notice any changes in health status and notify physicians and families. In addition, our nurses are available to help families coordinate outside-home care or hospice services.
