Hospice Care

Years ago, families expected their aging loved ones to pass away in a hospital or nursing home. These days neither hospitals nor nursing homes, which can be extremely expensive, are necessary for end-of-life needs. Chandler House Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia Care is able to provide hospice care, or end-of-life care, for our residents whose medical needs increase as they approach death.

Although you will find Chandler House Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia Care to be a place full of life and joy, we recognize and share the sadness that goes along with the inevitable permanent departure of those suffering with Alzheimer’s Disease. That is why our ultimate concern is comfort and care. Not only does genuine care bring joy to our residents, but it often improves the quality and duration of their lives.
